My suitcase is already packed. Today, I'm going home!

It's summer vacation! I go to college in another city, and home is far from my school. This whole semester, I haven't been home even once.

I miss home so much. I miss my dad, I miss my mom, and I miss my mom's cooking.

I pull my suitcase and walk out of the dorm. I'm going to take the high-speed train.

To get from school to the station, I first take the subway. Today the subway is really crowded, it seems like everyone is going home.

At the station, I first look at the big screen. My train leaves at two in the afternoon.

To get in, you just scan your ID card, so convenient. I put my ID card on the reader, and the gate opens.

After going in, you still have to pass security. I put my bag on the belt and walk through beside it.

After security, I find a seat, sit down, and wait.

The waiting hall is so full of people. Some people are looking at their phones, some are eating, everyone is waiting for their train.

It's almost two o'clock, and we can board now. I follow everyone and slowly walk forward.

On the train, I find my own seat. My seat is by the window — I love window seats the most!

I put my suitcase away and sit down. The train is so clean and comfortable.

The train starts moving. It runs fast and smooth.

I look out the window. The houses, big trees, and fields outside, one by one, fly past so quickly.

Watching the scenery outside, I feel so happy. In a few more hours, I'll be home.

After sitting for a while, I get a little hungry. I take out a little bread roll and eat it slowly.

After eating, I drink some water, listen to music, close my eyes, and rest for a bit.

I send my mom a message: Mom, I'm on the train, I'll be home soon!

Mom replies right away: Okay, your dad and I will come to pick you up. Reading that, my heart feels warm.

Before I know it, the train arrives at my stop. I pull my suitcase and get off with everyone.

I walk out of the station — it's hot outside, the summer sun. As I walk, I look around for my mom and dad.

Suddenly, I see them! My mom and dad are standing right there, smiling and waving at me.

I run over and hug my mom. I'm home! This summer, I can finally relax.
