Hey, it's me again, Xiao Yue! Today, I'm going to the supermarket to do some shopping. I'm almost out of milk and eggs at home, and low on vegetables and fruit too, so I need to go buy some. Do you want to come with me? Then let's head out together!

Before I go out, I write a list first. I need some vegetables, some fruit, and milk, eggs, and bread. The list isn't long, but it's all things I use every day. With a list, I won't forget anything at the store.

There's a supermarket right next to my place, just a five-minute walk away — close and convenient. So I shop there often, they have lots of things, and it's all fresh.

The weather is nice today — sunny, not too hot. As I walk, I look at the little shops and green trees, and I feel great. After a little while, I reach the supermarket.

As soon as I'm in, I grab a shopping cart. When you have a lot of things, pushing a cart is easy, you don't carry it all, and your hands don't get tired.

The supermarket is big and bright, with so many things, all arranged neatly, so it's easy to find. The air conditioning is on, so it's a little cool and comfortable. I push my cart and slowly walk further in.

The vegetables are at the front of the store. There are tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, and lots of leafy greens, they all look fresh.

I grab two tomatoes, a cucumber, and three potatoes. I like buying vegetables of different colors, it's a healthier way to eat. Potatoes are cheap and tasty, and good for many dishes.

After the vegetables, I go to buy fruit. There are apples, bananas, oranges, and big watermelons. Apples are my favorite; one a day, is good for you.

How much are the apples per pound? I check the sign — five yuan a pound, not expensive. I grab a bag, and pick a few big, red apples.

The fruit needs to be weighed first. I put the apples on the scale, and it quickly shows a price, ten yuan in total.

The machine also prints a little sticker, and I stick it on the bag. That makes checking out easy, the staff can see the price at a glance.

Next, I go to buy milk and eggs. They're at the back of the store, where there are big fridges, a bit cooler.

I take a carton of milk and check the date, it's fresh, good. I also grab a box of eggs. I drink milk every morning, so I can't be without it at home.

Then I go to buy bread and rice. Bread is for the morning, rice for cooking dinner, I need both.

I grab a bag of bread; it's soft and smells great. I also take a small bag of rice, one bag lasts a long time and is handy.

Walking along, I come to the snack aisle. There are cookies and chocolate in bright colors, they all make me want to buy them.

I really love snacks, but too many aren't good for your body, or your teeth, so I control myself. In the end, I take just one small pack of cookies.

When I shop, I like to check the prices. Some things are on sale today, much cheaper than usual — a great deal.

Look, this yogurt is buy two get one free — great, so I take three. Checking prices helps you save a little, my mom taught me this.

With everything bought, I head to the checkout. There are a few people there, so I wait in line a bit. While I wait, I look over what I've bought, it's all here, nothing forgotten.

Soon it's my turn. I take my things out one by one, and gently set them on the counter.

The staff scans each item, sixty-eight yuan in total. I pay with my phone — just one scan, fast and easy. These days many people pay by phone.

After paying, I put everything into my own shopping bag. The bag is full and heavy, but looking at it all, I'm happy.

Carrying a full bag, I slowly walk home. Once home, I have a sip of water, then put everything away one by one.
